It’s not about the guns, or texting, or flying popcorn, or fastfood, or forgotten anniversaries, or atomic wedgies, or ceramic squirrels. It’s about respect for one another.
Each of these incidents and many many others are a result of someone resorting to violence due to a percieved slight by others, whether intentional or otherwise. Had mutual respect been part of the equation, it is likely that none of these would have escalated to a violent act.
