I have experience in preparedness planning for personal use in both Michigan and Florida. I also have professional experience within Information Technology for preparedness planning, continuity of service, shelter operations and disaster recovery all over the midwestern United States and Florida.
I have personally experienced torrential rainstorms, severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, blizzards, and extreme tropical weather (tropical storms and hurricanes). Each required preparedness planning and disaster recovery at both a personal level and professionally as an IT professional at a major financial institution and a state health agency.
