1998 to 2002
Bank One based in Chicago, Illinois was one of the top ten banking corporations in the United States in numerous banking categories, primarily focused in the Midwest with additional presence in Arizona, Texas and Louisiana as well as Florida. Bank One also had an international presence as well.
As the single contact point at Bank One – Florida for all technology systems, I was responsible for coordinating all technology initiatives in as many as twelve different banking centers.
- Supported as many as 125 workstations and seven file/print servers at 15 geographically dispersed sites in South Florida.
- Designed and installed new telecommunications systems into nine banking centers. Provided ongoing maintenance and support.
- Developed Disaster Recovery Plan and directed the implementation as needed for a number of tropical weather events impacting from as few as one and as much as the entire state system.
- Developed and directed the implementation of all technology systems in support of new office construction and relocations of six banking centers. Including the development of new standards for equipment installations and communications center layout.
- Primary Y2K Lead working with Federal Agencies to ensure business continuity into the year 2000.
